A sealed box gives tight, accurate bass and takes up less space in the trunk. It forgives small volume errors and suits fast, punchy music. A ported (bass reflex) box uses the air in the port to boost the low end around the tuning frequency — you get more output from the same amplifier, but the box size and port length must be calculated precisely.
In the calculator you enter your driver's parameters and target volume, choose a slot or round port and a tuning frequency. You get the net volume in litres, the outer dimensions in millimetres and an 18 mm MDF cut list designed for 90° glued-and-screwed joints.
Physical boxes are built and delivered only within Bulgaria. If you are outside Bulgaria — or prefer to build it yourself — the digital plan with exact drawings, cut list and port tuning is delivered by email anywhere in the world.
